COMMISSION ME!

I realize that all of us are broke/ can't spare too much cash, but I'm not asking a lot. The thing is, I have to raise $400 dollars just to put a roof over my head. I'm trying to do this in every way possible (job, selling a few unneeded items..) so I thought I SHOULD ALSO ADVERTISE FOR COMMISSIONS.

I'm going to do these through the mail, so you'll need to note me for my address and tell me what you need.

$20 : Gets you an image WITH a background and I will code it for a petpage if you'd like.
$10 : Gets you a photoshop image with a SIMPLE background +$5 for extra characters
$5 : Gets you a photoshop image (colored, shaded, EVERYTHING) with NO BACKGROUND

As I said, I'm desperate. I'll be accepting these/spitting them out quickly. I will show you the sketch before I receive the mailed payment, but you will not get the complete image until I get paid :)

If you are just a kind soul and wish to DONATE to me, I would cry and hug you and jump for joy and probably still draw you something BEAUTIFUL.. and you should still note me for my address.

Anyway, I know this is a long journal for something where I'm begging people to commission me, and I'm sorry about that, but it's one of my last resorts.

Wanted: Readers//

I'm always pleasantly surprised when I find that people actually come to read my journal. I mean I put it here for others to read and usually to try to reach out to people through my journal, but I feel like not too many people come 'round to hear what I'm babbling about.

Anywho- First of all, I apologize for being inactive since AUGUST. When I saw that I actually wanted to slap myself. Life has been awfully crazy. College ended up going rather badly, I became mildly depressed and have now finally admitted to my parents that I need to take time off from it and recollect myself. Then a few days ago my doctor called and announced that it's very possible I have uterine cancer and I have to go in for a biopsy. Honestly, I'm slightly freaked. Ok, more than slightly. Even though there's a possibility it's NOT that.. it's still frightening for someone to tell you that. So now I'm dealing with that. So right now I am at home for a few weeks (it's awful.. I mean I love my parents but I miss freedom) trying to find a job. I mean I am DESPERATELY SEEKING a job. And not looking forward to my next doctor appointment.

Which brings me to my second point: if you need a commission, I'm you're gal. I promise my prices are NOT high, and you should note me to talk if you're interested. I understand that many people don't have money to spend on art, but if you do I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE THE HELP. You'd basically be doing me a charity. (Note: I would ask for payment by mail)

Third: Visit my petpages. Kohinor's is sort of in-the-works [link] Cupivi's needs an update but she's still an interesting character and I would like her to get some attention (IF YOU WANT TO ROLEPLAY, NOTE ME!) [link] and Lithobolia is sort of my favorite at the moment, although she too needs friends and maybe some sort of plot [link]


I'm going through a bunch right now, but you'll see art from me soon because I need an escape. I keep doodling in my journal but it's about time I upload some digital art.

OK, NOW, I NEED YOUR HELP:

-If you know of any jobs in central texas you should let me know hah

-If you want a commission (we can talk prices, I'm willing to haggle) NOTE ME PLEASE

-If you'd like to roleplay and you are a relatively literate but still relaxed roleplayer who is willing to TALK ABOUT A PLOT and such, NOTE ME PLEASE

-If you know of any great music, send it my way. In my less optimistic states I enjoy being cheered up with a song.

-If you have a very interesting character with a finished petpage and story, please send that my way and I'll draw them. I'm looking for a fun project. So I guess I'll choose one that best interests me. Also, just for fun, choose a song that you think fits your character best and put it in your post (oh, post this in a comment on this journal). Thanks.

-Anything else? Even just chitty-chat, or a response to this in any way? Note me.

Commission me. I am almost officially a starving college student (in 5 days, on August 20th). I actually need the money now. I am opening some sort of odd commissions.. you can contact me for anything from a simple drawing with a transparent background to an entire coded petpage with layout, to a neopets lookup with original art or art you choose me to use (as long as you have permission to use it).
Here is a small list of prices.. if what you want isn't on here, just note me:
$5- quick digital drawing w/ transparent background.
$8- digital drawing with very simple background
$15- digital drawing set up as a petpage layout
$20- digital drawing set up as a layout, coding for the layout, even music and introduction included if you wish.

I will be taking payment by mail.

All my little notes..


SO I come in to check my messages this morning and I am SUPER SURPRISED AND SUPER THRILLED TO SEE that my desperate cry for a subby was answered! I am forever in debt lol lol I love everyone who responded SO SO MUCH.

Roo and my Lizzypoo actually both responded to my begging .. They are so wonderful and amazing and each of them got me a 3 month subscription just because they love me.. just from the GOODNESS OF THEIR AMAZING DARLING HEARTS. I love you two both sooo sososo so so so much it's indescribable.

Roo- I am drawing Fei for you, since I SO OWE YOU.

Lizzykins- You know I love you, and I'll be drawing Rhist tons and tons. But if you ever need ANYTHING.. just ask.. :3

I would either draw you a simple picture, draw you a LAYOUT for a petpage, or draw AND code the layout/petpage (including music, if you wished)..

OK, art-wise.. I'm doing a bunch of quickie things, dappling in different styles. We'll see how that goes. I'm trying to reference more hah. I just finished Kohinor's new page layout but I hate the pose cause I really messed up the anatomy, so there'll be a new one coming.. again.

YOU SHOULD JOIN NOW TO GET IN ON THE GUILD-WIDE ART EXCHANGE AND THE ROLEPLAYS (especially the "Arakoh" plot).
Really, we want everyone. Even an active side is FINE as long as every time you get on, you make sure to drop in. We're all friendly and loving and such. Plus I love my Techies and I probably tend to give them special treatment.. ahaha.

Yes, I really really really am.
So, here's the deal: If someone is willing to buy me a 3 month subscription, I'll do any one of these things:
1. Draw them 3 images (with backgrounds, if you wish.. whatever pose/character you want).. one for each month :D

2. Create an entire petpage for them (that means the art, layout, coding, and even an intro/story if you wish.. including a 50x50 link and I can add music that will play in IE, which i will upload myself)

3. Draw them an image of the char of their choice, AND create a personalized neopets lookup for them. I rock at coding lookups I swear. (hexedwish.. you can see that one is personalized. i can make yours look better than that lol)

So.. if anyone is generous enough to give me a 3 month subscription I would give them one (maybe you could convince me to do two?) of those things.. PLUS LOVE THEM FOREVER AND ALWAYS.
